Are you frustrated with the old, traditional educational model that teaches students to spit out facts and pass state-mandated tests? You also don't have the ability to home school?
The Acton Academy mission is to inspire each child and parent who enters our doors to find a calling that will change the world.
If you are looking for a different approach to your child’s education; would you like them to have more time outdoors, less time at a desk and not contending with hours of homework at night?
We use Socratic discussions and disruptive education to change the way young people view the world. We focus on real life scenarios, entrepreneurship skills and believing in yourself to be the change the world needs!

- Discover his or her most precious gifts and learn to use them to solve difficult problems.

Kaitlin is the mom of 3; Murphy (8) and identical twin girls Raegan + Elliott (4). Kaitlin has had the desire to open a school since Murphy was just 2 years old. The idea of learners sitting at a desk, inside for most of the day, with little free time never sat right with her. Therefore, she decided to do something about it – Welcome to The Wilds!
Jason is Kaitlin’s husband. He has a corporate job and a woodworking business. Jason is passionate about education, entrepreneurialism and ensuring that their children love to learn. When Kaitlin suggested opening a school Jason didn’t hesitate at all. He responded, “we absolutely need to make this happen” a few months later The Wilds opened!
